Landscaping

Started this site as a place to put down ideas somewhere other than my head. Picked the Astro Cactus template as a base, then stripped out most of it and rebuilt around three buckets to start with:

  • Engineering — systems, infrastructure, and platform work
  • Reading — book notes and reviews
  • Grass — non-technical writing about life, interests, and everything else

The core idea is that notes like this one are the raw material. Some stay rough forever. Others grow into longer blog posts. A few might bloom into working prototypes. The site structure reflects that — content collections for posts, notes, and standalone pages, with category-based routing so each section has its own space.

Still a lot to do — need to write actual content, wire up the home page sections, and figure out if the garden/notes split earns its keep. But the bones are here.

In a world where most content is increasingly generated, copied, or optimized for engagement, I want this space to stay honest.

Real writing, real opinions, rough edges and all.
