What I do

Enterprise Architect at Deutsche Telekom (via T-Systems) — leading 20+ backend/ML engineers building cloud infrastructure, data systems, and AI across the EU. Currently architecting a natural-language data discovery platform serving over 5k employees with p95 latency under 1 second.

Before this, built a distributed ML platform at Exadatum, a data startup, computing affinity scores for over 60M customers across 40k+ signals powering daily omnichannel personalization for Kohls in the US, driving ~$19M in attributable revenue.

Started as a founding data engineer at the Ad-Tech division of JetSynthesys, a gaming startup. Built the real-time bidding backend processing ~1B ad requests per day at sub-20ms p95 on bare metal, years before Kubernetes and managed cloud were the default.

Open Source

ASF Member, PMC for Apache Griffin, core committer on Apache OpenDAL, and core contributor to Polars. Mostly active in Python & Rust projects — columnar analytics, high-performance computing, scalable backends.

AFK

Dialing in the perfect double shot of espresso, tinkering with smart tech, cancelling subscriptions because of product enshittification, training for the next 5k, keeping the houseplants alive, or relaxing with my pup - Croissant.
